The volunteers of Brightening Up Bridlington are back out making a difference this month with another community litter pick and clean-up event aimed at giving part of the town a fresh spring clean.
This time, the group will be returning to the Gypsey Race Park area along with surrounding streets and nearby green spaces, helping tidy up the neighbourhood and remove litter from public areas ahead of the busy summer season.
The clean-up takes place on:
SATURDAY 16th MAY
STARTS: 10am
LOCATION: Palace Car Park near the Gypsey Race
All litter-picking equipment will be provided on the day, and organisers will give a short pre-pick briefing before volunteers head out.
Everyone is welcome to get involved, although youngsters must be accompanied by an adult. Organisers also remind participants that all litter picks are undertaken at their own risk.
