Flamborough RNLI launched on service today (28 July) at 3:55pm at the request of UK Humber Coastguard, following a report of three people cut off by the tide at Thornwick Bay on the Flamborough headland.
The Lifeboat arrived on scene at 4:02pm and the volunteer crew recovered three persons and returned them safely to shore.
Flamborough Lifeboat and the volunteer crew were stood down and they safely returned to station at South Landing at 4:35pm.
The tractor and lifeboat were cleaned refuelled and prepared for the next service.
