Bridlington Town Council has announced that Councillor Mike Heslop-Mullens has been elected by fellow members of the council as Deputy Mayor of Bridlington for the remainder of the current Mayoral year.
The appointment follows the sad passing of former Deputy Mayor, Councillor Ray Pollard, who died in January.
Councillor Heslop-Mullens was chosen during a recent meeting of the council and will support the Mayor in civic duties and community events across the town.
Members of Bridlington Town Council paid tribute to Councillor Pollard’s service and dedication, noting his valued contribution to the council and the wider community during his time in office.
