A Flamborough chippy is in the running for an award in the 2024 National Fish & Chip Awards.
Lighthouse Fisheries on High Street is one of nine finalists in the Best National Takeaway of the Year and faces competition from chip shops all over the country.
The traditional chip shop, owned by Gary, Jane and Luke Sharples, won the Best Newcomer in the awards in 2023 and will be hoping to make it two wins in a row.
Results are announced on 28th February at the glittering ceremony which is held at the Park Plaza in London.
