New for 2026, ICONIC BRICKS: Extinction is an exciting brick model trail set to fascinate families and visitors alike at Sewerby Hall and Gardens.
Opening to the public on Friday, 14 August, the 17-model exhibition showcases a variety of animals that roamed the earth millions of years ago up to as recently as the 1930’s.
Amongst the collection of animals some of the standout creations are the Dire Wolf, Sabre Tooth Tiger and the Mammoth skull.
The exhibition is suitable for visitors of all ages, those who come along will be able to capture their memories by taking photographs at the sit-in egg and selfie models.
The detail of the models showcase the craftmanship of the model builders who have expressed their creativity and skill into every detail, creating an unforgettable experience for visitors.
Councillor Nick Coultish, Cabinet Member for Culture, Leisure and Tourism at East Riding of Yorkshire Council’s, said: “We are delighted to welcome ICONIC BRICKS: Extinction to Sewerby Hall and Gardens this summer. This unique exhibition combines creativity, learning and family fun, bringing some of the world’s most fascinating extinct animals to life through incredible brick-built models.
‘’Visitors of all ages will be amazed by the craftsmanship while the interactive elements provide fantastic opportunities for families to create lasting memories together.’’
The exhibition will be on display until Sunday, 13 September.
