Volunteers from New Pasture Lane Community Centre in Bridlington rolled up their sleeves to help keep the surrounding estate neat and tidy during a community litter pick.

Those taking part were rewarded with free bacon and sausage sandwiches and drinks at the centre afterwards.
In just 90 minutes, the team collected nine bags of rubbish.
Abi Sturdy from the centre said: “I would like to thank all those who turned out to help, especially in the warm temperatures.

“We plan to run these litter picks on a regular basis because they really do make a difference for our local community and environment alike.”
