A Bridlington resident has been recognised for his long service with a well-know Bridlington company.
Local funeral employee Nick Janney of Ernest Brigham and F Kneeshaw & Sons has received a special award for long service to the company.

Nick, who has been serving local families in Bridlington for over 25 years as an Embalmer, was presented with the award by Business Leader, Victoria Barton of Ernest Brigham’s who are based on St John Street in the town.
Nick said: “I have been with Brigham’s for over 25 years and have always found my position very rewarding. It is a privilege to help bereaved families at their time of need.”
Nick joined the company on 11th October 1999 as a Funeral Service Operative.
He later became interested in becoming an embalmer
and became British Institute of Embalmers qualified in October 2009.
Prior to working for Brigham’s Nick was in the RAF as a driver.
