Glen Gardens in Filey is set to host a magical lantern event this Saturday (11 March) with a ‘truly magical lantern trail’ which is part of the The Odyssey series of events being held along the Yorkshire coast.
The event – ‘Here be Monsters’ – is set to open on Saturday evening between 5.00-8.00pm and admission is free with no need to book.
Those travelling by in by car, the nearest pay and display parking is almost opposite Glen Gardens, – a short walk away at West Avenue car park.
It follows on from the successful Bridlington lantern parade last month with attracted a large number of visitors to the South Beach promenade.
This Saturday’s event is Part of ‘The Odyssey – An Epic Adventure on the Yorkshire Coast’ – an Animated Objects Theatre Company project, funded by the Yorkshire Coast BID.
