Construction work on Bridlington’s new multi-storey car park is continuing to gather pace, with the latest aerial images revealing significant progress on the £15.5 million development.

The 426-space facility, being built on Beck Hill between Manor Street and Hilderthorpe Road, has visibly taken shape since work began in late April 2025. Recent updates show major structural elements now in place, with multiple levels emerging as contractors move into the next phase of the build.

The project, led by East Riding of Yorkshire Council, is designed to address growing demand for town centre parking while supporting more sustainable travel. Once complete, the car park will include 31 accessible bays, six electric vehicle charging points, eight motorcycle spaces and 12 cycle stands.

Developers say recent weeks have seen steady progress on the concrete framework and access ramps, with work also advancing on internal layouts and service installations. The scheme is expected to play a key role in modernising Bridlington’s infrastructure and improving access for residents, visitors and businesses.
It is understood that construction remains on schedule, with the car park due to be completed later this year.
