After half a century, a Bridlington-based company is celebrating with a new head office and opening of a new branch.
In it’s 50th year of trading, Independent builders merchant West Building Supplies has a lot to celebrate including a new branch in Beverley and the relocation of its head office and showroom operation.
The new headquarters are perfectly situated next to the company’s unique indoor lansdscape centre and warehouse and distribution centre on Bessingby Industrial Estate in Bridlington.
The relocation reflects the company’s growth over the last couple of years which also includes a 1.5 acre new-build depot in Scarborough, a revamp of the company’s cash customer loyalty card scheme and a new website.
West Building Supplies currently employ 55 members of staff throughout its 4 branch network , their hard work and loyalty along with many other associates over the decades have helped establish West Building Supplies as one of the largest independent family run Builders Merchants in the East Riding and North Yorkshire region.
Sean Boyd Managing Director explained: “The new Head Quarters brings the best of our Builders Merchant stock range together under one roof and incorporates a brand new state of the art kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and decorative lighting showroom and design centre. It’s a massive bonus that the new HQ is next to the recently refurbished indoor landscape centre and warehousing facility
which increases our ability to give the best customer service possible.”
