Hundreds of mourners paid their respects in Bridlington (18th February, 2025) as they remembered Bridlington Lifeboat coxswain Steve Emmerson who sadly died last month.
Bridlington RNLI crew members and volunteers formed a guard of honour along with family and friends.
A one-minute silence was held outside the RNLI station as the hearse parked next to the All Weather Lifeboat Antony Patrick Jones, on which Steve had been coxswain for many years.
A service was held afterwards at Octon Crematorium, with around 400 family, colleagues and friends in attendance.
