Residents are being invited to roll up their sleeves and help keep Bridlington looking its best at the next community litter pick.

Following the success of previous clean-up events, volunteers will gather on Saturday, September 19, at the Old Town Car Park, Stepney Grove, from 10am to 11am.

Organisers are welcoming both regular supporters and new volunteers to take part in the popular event, which has helped remove large amounts of litter from streets, green spaces and public areas across the town.

All equipment will be provided and a full safety briefing will be given before the litter pick begins. Young people are welcome to join in when accompanied by an adult.

After the clean-up, volunteers are invited to enjoy a coffee and chat together.

Participants should note that all litter picks are undertaken at their own risk.
