Football fans to meet the man who brought it home in 1966
Bridlington Spa is set to host an unforgettable evening with football legend Sir Geoff Hurst on Friday, 12 December 2025, giving fans the chance to relive one of the greatest moments in English sporting history.
Sir Geoff, famed for scoring a historic hat-trick in England’s 4–2 victory over West Germany in the 1966 World Cup Final, remains the only player ever to achieve the feat in a World Cup final. His iconic performance secured England’s first — and only — World Cup triumph, etching his name into football folklore.
Guests will have the rare opportunity to hear Sir Geoff share personal stories from his illustrious career, including behind-the-scenes tales from that unforgettable summer of ’66.
