The members of the Bridlington Veterans Coffee Morning Group have already raised thousands for charity with their ‘Privates on Parade’ calendar – now they hope to raised thousands of pounds more with the release of their charity CD titled “From Heroes to Rock Stars.”
The CD has been made to raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Society and will be unveiled at the Bridlington Armed Forces Day event today (22nd June).
Members of the public who are interested in supporting this cause can visit the RNA stall located on the seafront near the RNLI station to purchase a copy of the CD.
Priced at just £10, all proceeds from the sale will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Society.
One of the driving forces behind this initiative is Mikey Rousseau, who not only led the recording, mastering, and production of the CD but also showcased his vocal talents with two standout performances.
The group also extended their gratitude to Graham Ambler for his artistic contributions in designing the cover and packaging of the CD.
Additional thanks were given to Sunfly Music and Zoom for licensing the backing tracks that added depth to the project. The veterans involved in the group also received praise for their exceptional vocal performances that brought the songs to life.
