A Bridlington man who has already raised thousands of pounds for Victim Support is preparing for another fundraising challenge later this year.

Daniel Galloway will host a charity fundraising day at The New Inn, Bridlington, on Saturday, November 28, with all proceeds going to Victim Support, a charity close to his heart following the tragic murder of his mother in Hull in 2019.
The event will get under way at 12 noonand continue throughout the afternoon and evening, featuring a pool competition, darts competition, karaoke contest, raffle prizes, bake sale, football cards and refreshments.

Daniel said he was grateful to New Inn owners Katie and Rhys for supporting the event and allowing it to take place at the popular town venue.
Said Daniel: “At this event day there will be plenty of events throughout the day and early evening, plus myself in an apron and nothing else but my underwear.”
Over the past few years, Daniel has raised around £6,000 for Victim Support through a variety of fundraising activities, including a 57-mile sponsored walk and tribute nights celebrating music stars Celine Dion and Cher.
He is also currently raising funds towards a sponsored skydive, with a target of £3,000 and more than £2,200 already pledged.
Daniel said his aim is to raise awareness, help others affected by crime and loss, and honour the memory of his mother.
