Dolphins Ahoy… more of the delightful sea creatures spotted in the Bay of Bridlington

A pod of sevaral Bottlenose dolphins have been spotted again by dozens of delighted passengers who were out on an afternoon pleasure cruise on the Yorkshire Belle yesterday (9th August).

Flamborough photographer Chrys Mellor, who was on the trip from Bridlington Harbour, captured these stunning images from the deck of the Yorkshire Belle.

Several pods have of bottlenose dolphins been regularly spotted swimming up and down the east coast looking for food.

Aberdeen University are conducting an ongoing study into the much-loved sea mammals which have been congregating in and around the Moray Firth in Scotland for several years.
