Police in Bridlington have updated the public after officers have seized a motorcycle.

They have said in a statement: “We are aware that nuisance motorcycles continue to cause issues in the town. Several reports have been received this evening and Neighbourhood officers have been out and about, trying to deter offences and catch those responsible.
“This is not an easy task however we are determined to reduce the number of incidents involving such machines.

“Tonight (6th March) , Neighbourhood Police officers managed to seize this motorcycle, after the riders tried to hide the bike from Police. It has since been seized and the owner has now lost their prized possession forever.
“We are also working closely with our partners, who have the ability to take positive action against tenants, should they be linked to anti-social behaviour, especially that involving the use of illegal motorcycles.

“Any information surrounding the use or storage of any illegal machines, or any criminality is always requested.”
