Updated: A statement from Humberside Fire Rescue said:
“Crews were called out on Tuesday, 12th December at 9.25am.”
“Lead flashing on third floor of building in dangerous position. Roof made safe by Fire Service. Aerial ladder platform, working at heights gear and small tools in use.”
The Promenade in Bridlington is currently closed due to an ongoing incident.
Humberside Fire and Rescue appliances are in attendance, with a telescopic ladder deployed at the scene.
As the road remains closed, motorists are urged to avoid the area.
