Reighton Nurseries has hailed the visit of celebrity gardener Joe Swift as a huge success as part of its 60th anniversary celebrations.
The Gardeners’ World presenter visited the nursery, where he was given a tour of the site before taking part in three question-and-answer sessions hosted by Reighton Nurseries’ Richard Ogden.
Visitors also had the chance to meet Joe, take photographs and collect autographs following the talks.
A charity raffle featuring 82 prizes donated by friends and supporters of the business was held during the event.
Reighton Nurseries said the day raised an impressive £4,877 for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
