Cake lovers are in for a treat this bank holiday weekend as the first of two popular May Cake Weekends arrives at the Flamborough RNLI Boathouse on Saturday, May 2 and Sunday, May 3.

Visitors can enjoy a tempting selection of home-baked cakes served in the RNLI Boathouse setting, with doors open from 10am to 4pm on Saturday. On Sunday, the event opens again at 10am and runs until the cakes sell out — or 4pm if any sweet treats remain.

Organisers say the weekend is the first of two cake-themed events planned for May and promises a delicious spread of freshly baked favourites, all homemade and served with a warm Flamborough welcome.

The event is made possible by the wonderful volunteers of Flamborough RNLI and all proceeds go to the village Lifeboat funds.
