On the 2nd February 2025 at home after a long illness bravely bourne aged 61 years of Bridlington.
A loving and much loved wife of Ian, mum to Sam and Jessica, moomoo to Elsie and a good friend to many who will be sadly missed.
A wonderful lady who helped so many over nearly 40 years of nursing.

LLOYD, Roy John
1st March 1946 – 18th February 2025
It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Roy John Lloyd at his home in Bridlington Old Town on 18th February 2025, with his daughters Kirsty and Johanna, and Lady the Dog by his side.
Roy was a talented artist and poet, who enriched the lives of those around him with his creativity and unique perspective.
He was a beloved father to Johanna, Kirsty, and his late son Conrad (b. 12/1971 – d. 04/1972).
Roy was the son of Eric and Ivy Lloyd, and ex-husband of June Casey (deceased) and Marjorie Lloyd.
He will always be remembered as an engaging, smart and fascinating man who loved art, books, and film.
In Roy’s memory, donations can be made to the Bridlington RNLI Lifeboat Station, a cause close to his heart.

LOFFKE, Layla Marie
On the 30th January, gently in Hospital, despite her unbelievable strength and fight, she finally fell asleep after such a long and difficult battle aged only 33 years.
Layla was an amazing mother to her little girl Lola aged 8, who she fought so hard for, she also leaves behind her loving husband Steven, her mother Louise, her grandma Christine and so many loving family and friends she has made throughout her short time with us.
