This will be first of several planned food festivals throughout the year with the second festival coming on 28th April.
Set up by local entrepreneur Angela Langton and Julie Boyes from the Bridlington Market Traders Collective, the events have been a phenomenal success, bringing thousands of visitors to the town centre for the past two years
Angela Langton has long been an advocate for bringing more people in to Bridlington, and decided to try to boost business and increase footfall for town centre shops.
The food markets brings about a full- circle journey for Angela bringing her back to where it all began for her family who traded on King Street market for decades.
Said Angela: “I love Brid as many people know me and it is my father’s roots – we are an old Bridlingtonian family.
“King Street was a sentimental street for me – I grew up working there with my parents on the market.” she added.
