The annual festival, England’s largest celebration of history and culture, offers free access to a wide range of historic buildings, museums, churches, exhibitions, guided walks and special talks. This year’s national theme, Everyday Histories, shines a spotlight on the lives of ordinary people and the places that have shaped local communities.
