Bridlington Town AFC are calling on the Yorkshire Coast to get behind the Seasiders as they prepare for a historic FA Trophy clash at Queensgate Stadium.
The town will welcome Curzon Ashton on Saturday, October 24, for the Isuzu FA Trophy First Round Proper, with kick-off at 3pm.
Bridlington are the lowest-ranked remaining side from Yorkshire and the North East in the competition, making the tie an important occasion for the club and its supporters.
It will also mark the Seasiders’ first appearance at this stage of the FA Trophy in 22 years, following an impressive qualifying-round victory over higher-division Whitby Town.
The club is now urging supporters, local businesses and the wider community to turn out in force and help create a memorable atmosphere as Bridlington take on opposition from a higher division.
The fixture represents an opportunity for the town to unite behind its football club as the Seasiders look to continue their cup adventure and make their mark on the national competition.
Club CEO Steve Brennan and first-team head coach Scott Kerr are available for media interviews, subject to scheduling, to discuss the significance of the tie, preparations and the club’s ambitions.
Journalists and photographers wishing to attend Queensgate Stadium are welcome to request access in advance.
