A business manager has said a fond farewell to the school she has worked at for over two decades.
Pupils, staff, parents, carers and governors at Bay Primary School said ‘goodbye’ to Anita Potter who has been the Business Manager since the school was built in 2002.
Anita began working for the local authority in 1995, employed in the office at Moorfield Infants School (which is now Quay Academy).
Headteacher at Bay Primary Helen Gee, said: “Anita has been instrumental in the creation of Bay Primary School as we know it now. All of us at Bay Primary School wish Mrs Potter every success in the future as she moves on
to her new role.”
Anita said:“I will really miss the many friends I have made over the years and also the many pupils who I have seen grow up as they move through their primary schooling.”
Anita was presented with a specially made decorated cake, dozens of bunches of flowers, chocolates and drinks.
