A unique festival is coming to Bridlington – and organisers are urging local youngsters to win prizes and see their creations on display.

“Bricklington – The Bridlington BrickFest Junior Build Competition.” is set to take place on August 31st at St John’s Burlington Church on St John Street in Bridlington.
The Bricklington event will showcase amazing amateur LEGO builders from across the country, giving everyone the chance to enjoy brick-based fun and pick up some Brick bargains.

The Junior Build Competition is open to budding young builders across three age categories: 4-6 years, 7-10 years, and 11-14 years.
Participants have the chance to win prizes such as Lego Creator sets and have their creations displayed at the Bricklington Show.

To enter the competition, participants must submit a picture of their original LEGO build by August 9th via email to waresthebricks@gmail.com, along with details such as the builder’s name, age category, and location – which should be within 20 miles of Bridlington.
The competition guidelines specify that the build must be the builder’s original creation, have a base footprint no larger than 32 x 32 studs, and not be an assembled official LEGO set.
