The Bridlington Millau Twinning Association is planning their next trip and would like to hear from anyone in our area who would like to come and sample the delights of the amazing twin town in France.

Bridlington has been twinned with Millau for over 39 years. Photo: Echo Media Group.

Millau is situated just over an hour’s drive north from the Mediterranean and nestles in a most beautiful region best known now for the Millau Viaduct.

Delightful scenery, great food, and friendly people await the group, and this year, there will be a chance to enjoy some of the local arts and crafts offered by talented makers.

The group will leave Bridlington for Manchester Airport on Thursday, September 11th, to fly to Béziers, then onto Millau.

Return is planned for Thursday, September 18th.

Chris Myers, chairman of the Twinning Association, says: “Over the 30+ years of our twinning, we have stayed with families, and this has created some special relationships between our two towns. We’d love to give more people from Bridlington the chance to experience this special bond and would encourage anyone interested to get in touch with me to find out more.”

The only cost to travelers is the airfare and airport transfers; everything else, including accommodation with families, meals, activities, transport, and entry fees, is covered by the French Twinning Association.
