RSPB Bempton Cliffs is hosting two festive craft workshops in November, covering fused glass and needle felting.
Lynn Richer will lead a Fused Glass: Christmas Decorations Workshop on Saturday 7th November from 10am to 12.30pm. Participants will make a star, a postbox, a robin and a wreath. The cost is £46 and all materials are included. The decorations need to be fired in a kiln and will be ready to collect within two weeks.
Yorkshire wildlife artist Jessica Jenyns will run a Festive Felting workshop on Sunday 15th November from 10am to 4pm. Participants bring along a pre-loved jumper or knitted accessory and learn to needle-felt a design onto it, with instructions for finishing it at home. All other materials are provided. Tickets are available from www.jessicajenyns.co.uk
The reserve is also running a two-hour guided walk, Discover Bempton Cliffs in Late Autumn, on Monday 16th November from 10am to midday, with further dates available. Tickets cost £6 to £13 and include a café voucher.
