The Bridlington Contemporary Art Gallery is sadly closing its doors for the last time at the end of May, and they invite all customers past and present to join them in a final farewell.
Rebecca Folds, who runs the gallery alongside her husband Nigel and Leon and Pam, said, “We have enjoyed an extraordinary six and a half years at Bridlington Contemporary, hosting 49 exhibitions and 98 events, from drum circles to private views, workshops to book launches, international artists’ films to musical events, and poetry groups to ‘100 Events’ and ’30 Days.’ We are truly grateful for the immense support we have received and the heartwarming messages since announcing our decision.”
The ‘Final Fling’ exhibition will feature works from all four partners, presenting a historical record of their time at Bridlington Contemporary.
All those interested are welcome to attend the exhibition on 19th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, 27th, 28th and 29th May, from 11am to 4pm at the gallery on West Street in the town.
