Visitors are being invited to enjoy a day of family-friendly entertainment when a popular free event returns to Carnaby Industrial Estate.

The Bridlington Model Boat Society event, which offers free admission and free parking, will showcase a wide range of radio-controlled models and attractions for enthusiasts and families alike.

Organisers are encouraging people to drive to Carnaby Industrial Estate and follow the signs to the venue, where they can watch impressive demonstrations of radio-controlled model boats, buggies, rock crawlers, trucks and farm equipment in action.

A new attraction for this year’s event will be the addition of model trains, adding even more variety for visitors of all ages to enjoy.

The event is aimed at both dedicated hobbyists and families looking for an enjoyable day out during the summer holidays. Organisers say there will be plenty to see whether visitors attend with children or simply want to learn more about the growing world of model engineering and radio-controlled vehicles.

Refreshments will be available throughout the day, while a bumper raffle will also give attendees the chance to win a selection of prizes.

With free entry, free parking and a range of displays and demonstrations on offer, organisers are hoping for another successful turnout from local residents and visitors to the area.

The event runs this Saturday and Sunday (22-23 August) between 10-4pm on both days.
