A family-run business in Bridlington is giving something back to their local community.

Harbourside Flavours, the ice- cream Bar on Bridlington Harbour was established in 2019 by Angela Bath who runs her business alongside her three daughters.

As part of their community support the business arranged for a ‘Big Beach Clean Up’ on Monday 11th September to help keep the beach as clean and as lovely as possible, especially after the summer holidays

Angela’s daughter Leah explained: “We asked that participants come in appropriate clothing, something comfy and suitable for the beach. Gloves, bin bags and limited litter pickers were supplied by us.”

The meeting point was at the Lifeboat Station and all ages can attend and prizes will be awarded on the day.

“We have chosen to do the beach clean as it’s beneficial for the environment and will help to show people of all ages that keeping our beaches clean can be a fun activity to do” said Leah.
