There will be a free uniform collection day in Bridlington on Thursday, 24th July, from 10am to 12pm.
The event will take place at the garages at the top of New Burlington Road in Bridlington, (West Street end) directly opposite the AA Garage
If you have any unwanted or outgrown school uniforms, please bring them along to swap for free items.
A spokesperson said: “We are hopeful to organise another event towards the end of summer. We all understand how costly uniforms can be, and this initiative aims to support our community.
“Any donations of used uniforms from Bridlington or nearby village schools are most welcome. This not only benefits local families but also contributes to environmental sustainability by preventing quality uniforms from ending up in landfills.
“In addition to uniforms, we are also accepting water bottles, school bags, shoes, coats, and more. If you have any of these items to donate, please feel free to bring them along or contact us to arrange a drop-off.”
This event is a collaboration with the Salvation Army, Bridlington.
