Bridlington’s town centre is set to come alive this weekend with the launch of its very first Easter Egg Hunt, bringing together local businesses and families for a festive celebration from April 4 to 6.

Organised by House of Candie Tricky Treats, the event will see more than 60 shops, cafés, restaurants and pubs take part. Each participating venue will hide Easter eggs in their windows, inviting visitors to explore the town while hunting for the seasonal surprises.
Located on Queen Street next to the well-known Stirling Castle pub, the organisers hope the event will draw both locals and visitors into the heart of Bridlington over the three-day weekend.

Participants can join the hunt on any of the event days, with a prize draw open to everyone who successfully spots the hidden eggs. The initiative aims not only to create a fun, family-friendly activity but also to support the town’s independent businesses.
Event organiser Elle Hemmingway said the weekend will include additional attractions to boost the festive spirit and support a charitable cause.

“Over the weekend we are holding a raffle with prizes including paintballing and a mini egg Easter basket,” she explained. “There will also be a tombola with loads of Easter treats to help raise funds for Make-A-Wish UK. and a delivery of eggs to Scarborough Hospital children’s ward.”
The shop itself is to have a grand opening on Saturday, 4th April.
