Plans for the Bridlington Old Town Summer Vintage Festival are being finalised, with the popular event set to take place on Sunday 6 July.

The festival will see the historic streets come alive with locals and visitors alike in costume from the 1940s,50s and 60s, vintage stalls, entertainment and attractions as well as the local shops, cafes and pubs open for business.
The festival will be officially opened at 10.30am by Bridlington Mayor Cllr Angela Walker and the High Street will remain closed to vehicles until 6pm.

The Vintage Festival promises to be part of a great day of entertainment and thousands are expected to attend the free day out, which showcases the Old Town of Bridlington.
Bridlington Gold Radio will be providing a stage area for some of the entertainment as well as music from the era for visitors to enjoy a dance.
Chris Daniels, Chairman of Regeneration of Bridlington Old Town (ROBOT) said: “I’m delighted to announce we are again hosting the Vintage Festival on the High Street and are hoping to make the event bigger and better than ever.”

“As always we rely on volunteers to help with the day and would welcome anyone who could spare a few hours on the day or in the build up to the event.”
Attractions throughout the day include:
