One of the biggest seafront attractions in Bridlington is on the move…
The Big Wheel, which is situated in the Esplande on the North Beach sea front, is being dismantled to be transported to a Christmas and New Year event elsewhere in the country.
Several people had contacted the Bridlington Echo get verified information about what was happening with the popular seafront attraction which is run by Harrison Leisure.
A spokesman for Harrison Leisure, which has contracted the wheel to the site for the last six years, said:
“As the season has come to a close, the Big Wheel has now come to the end of its term and is being taken down for a full refurbishment before going onto a winter Christmas and New Year event elsewhere in the country. Watch this space!”
It is not know what attraction will take the vacant space where the wheel stood.
