Well known and highly respected Bridlington Lion, Ken Taylor who recently passed away after dedicating over 35 years to the club has been remebered fondly by family and friends.

A memorial bench has been dedicated in his honour in the town to show the high esteem he was held in and was unveiled recently on the corner of Lamplugh Road and North Marine Drive on the Northside of Bridlington.

A spokesman for the Bridlington Lions Club Gary Hedges said: “It was an honour to see the memorial bench laid for our friend and Lion Ken Taylor. Ken dedicated over 35 years to the Lions and held the secretary post for several years. It was not surprising to hear from Ken’s loved ones that he gave the same dedication to other causes.”
