Roll up…Bridlington is set to welcome a slice of fairground history this weekend as the world-famous Ken Fox Wall of Death roars into town.

The thrilling attraction will be based on the South Promenade, close to Bridlington Spa, bringing with it the sights, sounds and smells of a traditional travelling fairground spectacle.
The Wall of Death features fearless riders performing gravity-defying stunts on classic motorcycles as they race around a near-vertical wooden cylinder, often just inches from spectators. The show has entertained crowds across the UK and beyond, with generations of riders keeping the unique tradition alive.

Its arrival is particularly significant for Bridlington, marking what is understood to be the first Wall of Death attraction to visit the town since the days when travelling fairs were regularly held on High Green in the Old Town. Those historic fairs were once a major feature of local life and drew visitors from across the district.

Organisers say the attraction offers a rare opportunity for younger generations to experience one of Britain’s most iconic fairground shows, while older residents may enjoy a nostalgic reminder of the town’s rich fairground heritage.
The Ken Fox Wall of Death will be open throughout the forthcoming weekend, with performances taking place across the day on the South Promenade.

Visitors are encouraged to arrive early as the attraction is expected to prove popular with both residents and Race the Waves visitors enjoying the late summer season in Bridlington.
