Flamborough RNLI, B-959 Forever Yibba launched on service today (12 September) at 6:00pm at the request of HM Coastguard, following a report of a person in an inflatable kayak in difficulty near North Landing.
The casualty was located and taken aboard the lifeboat along with his kayak and taken to the beach at North Landing.
The lifeboat and volunteer crew returned safely to the lifeboat station at South Landing at 6:30pm. Lifeboat crew and shore crew then cleaned and re fuelled the lifeboat and launching tractor in preparation for the next shout.
