Visitors are being invited to enjoy homemade cakes and sweet treats while supporting the vital work of Flamborough’s volunteer lifeboat crew.

Flamborough RNLI is inviting the community to enjoy a weekend of homemade cakes and fundraising at its lifeboat station at South Landing.
The station will host its popular Cake Weekend on Saturday, October 17, and Sunday, October 18, from 10am to 4pm on both days.
Visitors can pop into the boathouse to enjoy a selection of homemade cakes and sweet treats while showing their support for the volunteers who help save lives at sea.

The event offers an opportunity for local residents and visitors to come together, enjoy some refreshments and contribute towards the RNLI’s lifesaving work.
Donations are welcome throughout the weekend, with every contribution helping support the charity and its volunteer crews.
The RNLI relies on public donations to help provide the equipment, training and resources needed to respond to emergencies around the coast.

Organisers are encouraging families, friends and visitors to make a stop at the station, enjoy something delicious and support their local lifeboat service.
The Cake Weekend will take place at Flamborough RNLI Lifeboat Station, South Landing, Flamborough, YO15 1AE.
Visitors are welcome between 10am and 4pm on both days.
