A fashion show in aid of Bempton Brownies takes place at Bempton and Buckton Community Village Hall on Friday 16th October, with doors open from 7pm and the show starting at 7.30pm.
Run by Complete Clothing Company, the event features high street clothing at affordable prices from brands including Next, M&S, Debenhams, Monsoon, Dorothy Perkins, Wallis and more.
Tickets are £5, including a glass of wine, soft drink or hot drink and cheese on arrival and are available from Bempton Post Office or by calling 07740980395. Cash and card payments are accepted on the night.
Alongside one-off events like this, the village hall also runs a full weekly programme of classes and activities. Mondays offer Pop-In and Yoga, while Tuesdays bring Sequence Dancing and Tai Chi. Wednesdays include Craft Club, Soup and a Roll, Wednesday Club, Dancercise and Bowls Club. Thursdays offer Chair Yoga and Line Dancing, while Fridays open with Open Session Bowls.
Bingo also takes place on the 2nd Friday of the month, the next, falling on 13th November, with doors open from 6.30pm and eyes down at 7pm. Price is £5 which includes all games. There is also a raffle and refreshments are available.
