An early morning trip to capture the sunrise over a Bridlington beach led to a surprise discovery for an amateur photographer.
Ron Willsher Snr, who often pops down to the seafront to capture dramatic sunrise images, was gobsmacked when he saw a young Roe deer trotting along the sands of Bridlington North beach first thing this morning, (24 May).

Said Ron, who regularly supplies images to the Bridlington Echo for our popular Picture Post of the Day:
“It was alone and I watched it for 20 minutes. It ran down towards the Harbour and then up the sands to the North Beach Fish shop.”
Ron captured these lovely images from a safe distance so as not to scare the deer which eventually headed back inland towards Sewerby.
