A Bridlington-based majorette troupe is celebrating success after winning a large number of titles at the Spa.
The Bridlington Red Admirals Majorettes team, who recently competed in the Majorettes Universal Championships at Bridlington Spa, entered all sections – Pom, Dance Twirl and their Senior Freestyle Military team – as well as solos and duos in Dance Twirl.
The results were outstanding, with the group achieving:
26 x 1st places 17 x 2nd places 13 x 3rd places.
Laura Collins, the Committee Secretary, said: “On top of this, our Senior Pom and Senior Military teams were both awarded Section of the Year, and our Baby Dance Twirl team was also awarded Section of the Year.
“We also received numerous Leader and Mascot 1st, 2nd and 3rd place ‘of the Year’ awards, reflecting the hard work and dedication of our whole troupe.
“Our new season is now starting ready for 2026, and the Bridlington Red Admirals are always welcoming new members.
“We train twice a week at CYP and are open to girls, boys, teens and adults aged 3+, of all abilities and with no experience needed.
