An Armed Forces Day Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, 24th June at 11:30am at the Bridlington War Memorial on Wellington Road in the town.
The Service will take place just before the Armed Forces Day Parade, and this year is particularly special as it will pay tribute to Royal Engineer Staff Sergeant Malcolm Banks.
S/St Banks sadly lost his life in Northern Ireland in 1972 and his name is being added to the Bridlington War Memorial.
All Operation Banner Veterans are welcome to be with the family of S/Sgt Banks to support and attend this very special Service on Armed Forces Day in Bridlington.
