Bridlington sisters Darla and Callie Tindall had recent success following their attendance at the British Majorette Sports Association National Championships.
Held in Blackpool, the National Baton Twirling Competition had competitors competing from across the country – all hoping to achieve success and to come away with national titles.
Darla, who is aged 8 and Callie who is 6, competed in a total of 11 events during the course of the weekend.
Lily Tindall (Darla and Callie’s mum) said: “They were placed in the top 4 in all sections, winning a total of 18 awards between them both.”
Darla and Callie went on to win the Overall Champion Duet of the Year 2024 Award and National Champion Duet Baton and Duet Showtwirl (which is a combination of baton twirling, pom and ribbon dancing).
Lily added: “They are only 8 and 6 years old so it’s an amazing achievement to have won so many awards.”
