One of the most-highly anticipated events on the Flamborough calendar will take place this Sunday (29 August) on the Village Green.
The Flamborough RNLI Funday is back bigger and stronger than ever after being cancelled in 2020.
But there is another reason to celebrate – the event also coincides with 150 year anniversary of the village lifeboat.
The Funday will, this year, be held on Flamborough Village Green due to space limitations on South Landing and around the boathouse area.
Volunteers have been planning the day for months and are hoping for a good attendance and to raise plenty of funds.
The fun starts at 10:00am with the event finishing around 4.pm.
A spokesman said: “We are hoping to have around 25 – 30 stalls, funfair rides, various activities, catering and souvenir stalls.
“Bridlington Gold Radio roadshow will attend, and other entertainment will be provided – including a Piper and Sea Shanty’s from the group Monkey’s Fist.”
