Flamborough Headland will take
centre stage in this year’s Yorkshire
Coast Trail Race Series on Sunday 5th
October 2025.
The 22-kilometre trail race sets off
at 9.30am from Bridlington’s north
bay, leading runners through Sewerby
and Danes Dyke before reaching the
headland at Flamborough and then
returning along the coastline to the
seafront finish.
A 10k trail race, also starting at 9.30am,
will follow a shorter route through
Sewerby and Danes Dyke.
At 9.40am, the 5k Sewerby Sprint gets under way, heading to Sewerby Hall and back on a certified traffic-free path.
A one- mile Family Fun Run on Bridlington Promenade will begin at 10.15am.
Organisers say the courses are
designed to highlight some of the East
Yorkshire coast’s most striking scenery,
with Flamborough Headland providing
a dramatic focal point.
