Bridlington residents can finally bask in the warmth of the sun after enduring ten days of grey skies and freezing temperatures.
As the sun is set to shine down, forecasters are predicting highs of 14°C later this week, offering a welcome respite from the recent cold snap that gripped the region.
While snow and ice warnings were issued over the weekend, with the potential for more snow Sunday into Monday, the outlook is brighter.
The milder temperatures expected from Wednesday are promising to be above the average for February, bringing much-needed relief to the chilly coastal community.
Thanks to Wendy Binns who captured the rare sight of sunshine in these lovely photos.
