The recognition comes as Sewerby Hall and Gardens prepares to host a vibrant programme of events and activities throughout the year.

Highlights include the return of the much‑anticipated Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition, which is now open to the public, alongside seasonal events, family activities and exhibitions designed to appeal to visitors of all ages.

Marie Gascoigne, general manager of Sewerby Hall and Gardens, added: ‘’We’re absolutely delighted to receive this award. It’s especially meaningful because it’s based on feedback from our visitors.
