Hundreds of people visited the Bridlington Lions Summer Carnival and Car Boot today…and helped to celebrated Yorkshire Day in style.
Bridlington Mayor Cllr Liam Dealtry was on hand to open the event along with the Yorkshire Society Town Crier David Hinde who made a Yorkshire Day proclamation.
Dozens of classic cars lined up along the cliff top site on Lime Kiln Lane, getting many admiring glances from passers by.
And despite some rain this morning, the sunshine came out and helped to make it grand day out in Bridlington.
Well done to the dedicated volunteers from the Bridlington Lions who organised, fundraised and marshalled at the event.
