A Bridlington lady who underwent gruelling chemotherapy
after the discovery of two brain tumours when she was younger
is raising funds for a charity that helped her through the ordeal.

Sophie Cheney will be raising funds for the Little Princess Trust who
gave her a wig to help with her confidence after chemotherapy.
To raise much needed cash for the charity Sophie will be having her own hair cut (which has now grown
back and comes down to her elbows) at the Elegance Hair Salon, Flamborough
Road on 14th May at 2pm.

“I have been growing my hair for a few years and decided I would like to
return my thanks by having my hair cut and donating it to the Little Princess Trust.
I would be really grateful if anyone would be able to donate.” explained Sophie.
